Together with her husband Dominic, she runs a non profit community (Hope for Animals) and Singapore's first pet related social enterprise (Bark A Tree)
Melodee Tan is an entrepreneur with infectious enthusiasm and undying passion for raising awareness of pet responsibility, animal welfare and adoption.
We discuss the discrimination she faced as an ITE student, her struggles with finances and losing her pets, and how all these led to her current drive for her work. Together with her husband Dominic, she runs a non profit community (Hope for Animals) and Singapore's first pet related social enterprise (Bark A Tree) that helps pet shelters raise funds and visibility through creative events in the community.
